Multi-Channel Learning - E-Learning Model of Bina Nusantara University

This paper discusses ICT implementation in supporting e-Learning activities in Bina Nusantara University (UBiNus), Jakarta, Indonesia. The presentation starts with an introduction clarifying background of Multi Channel Learning application , those are UBiNus’ vision, internal factors, and external factors that becomes a consideration for its implementation. Next, clarification of Multi Channel Learning Model designed for classroom activities, e-Learning activities, and self study. Initiatives policy describes class meeting, course materials, content development team, teaching certificate, and scoring policy. Programs related to MCL preparation for both lecturers and students, units, and IT supports are presented. The paper also discusses Learning Management System (LMS), infrastructure condition, and performances that will be achieved. It is concluded that ICT implementation in Bina Nusantara University supports administration, management, and learning activities. MCL is a blended learning system because the learning system combines students and lecturers’ face to face activities in the classroom and self-study conducted by students in their academic environment.
